Learn & Burn Events

Prescribed Fire in Action

Giving landowners the knowledge to care for their forests.

Through Learn & Burn events, Alabama Forestry Foundation gives landowners hands-on experience with prescribed fire and an opportunity to learn directly from forestry and conservation professionals. Participants gain practical knowledge that can help them improve forest health, enhance wildlife habitat, and make informed management decisions on their own land.

Practical Stewardship

Restoring White Oak on Private Lands

Helping landowners become part of a larger conservation solution.

Alabama Forestry Foundation works with private landowners and conservation partners to improve the health and sustainability of white oak forests. By connecting landowners with information, resources, and forestry and conservation professionals, AFF helps translate landscape-scale conservation goals into practical stewardship on private lands.
