Since 1978
Our History
Founded in 1978, Alabama Forestry Foundation formed a 501(c)(3) nonprofit to support Alabama’s forestry community by promoting and protecting the environmental and economic values of Alabama’s forests and the people who depend on them.

Our Vision
We envision an Alabama where healthy, working forests continue to enrich the state’s environment, economy, and communities. Through sustainable stewardship and collaborative conservation, Alabama’s forests will provide clean water, thriving wildlife habitat, renewable forest products, and lasting opportunities for generations to come.
