SCHOOLYARD FOREST PROGRAM

Connecting Students to Nature

The Schoolyard Forest Program is dedicated to connecting students to nature. By planting forests at 40 schools across Alabama, kids and adults increase time outdoors, learn about trees and plants native to Alabama, and receive all the benefits nature provides. Through providing an opportunity for outdoor education in the place where they spend most of their time, students learn about the wonders of nature while at school.
